But its good for those who want to keep Google plus separate of all the things. And don’t want to login again and again in browser. The developer of this application is working hard to give out more better and advance response.

This application has been hosted on CloudApp here. It’s a quick download, and installation simply involves unzipping and copying the Google+ application to your Applications folder.

Why Twitter's "Information Network" Strategy Is Under Pressure From Facebook & Google Plus

"We're not a social network, we're an information network." That's what Twitter's vice president of engineering, Michael Abbott, told the crowd atMobilize 2011 this week. That isn't new branding, Twitter has beendenying it's a social network since at least a year ago. It all dates back to November 2009, when Twitter changed the question it asked users for status updates from "What are you doing?" to "What's happening?".
The trouble is, Twitter's main rivals Facebook and Google+ are not sticking to their knitting like Twitter is. Last week, Facebook widely expanded the range of information it tracks: read, listen, watch, 5 types of "life events" and more. Meanwhile Google+ has become known as a place for people to discuss common interests. This is all bad news for Twitter.

Twitter used to be seen as competing with Facebook as a social service. But that was a fight Twitter was never going to win. So, wisely, it shifted the focus to being an information network. That strategy has worked up till now, because Twitter has built up a huge store of what the Web 2.0 Map callsInterest Data - defined as "declarations of what people are interested in."
The problem for Twitter is that both Facebook and Google+ have begun to target the information network business too.
Just last week, Facebook opened up its platform to Read, Watch, Listen data. If users of Facebook allow apps such as Spotify (music), Washington Post (news) and Netflix (video) to automatically share data to their Facebook News Feeds, then suddenly there is a lot more Interest Data flowing through Facebook. Also expanded types of status updates (so-called "life events") will add to Facebook's Interest Data store.

Google+ Invites the World Into Its Social Circles

It appears that Google+ is becoming more than a gnat circling around Facebook's head. Although its numbers are still relatively modest, Google+ just opened its doors to the masses, which is likely to give its membership a bump. That, plus the addition of some impressive new functionality -- particularly for mobile devices, where Facebook is lagging -- may have the much larger social network squirming.

Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) has unleashed Google+ on the world, now completely unfettered by its earlier requirement to join via invitation.
For its debut, Google has added a slew of enhancements as well.
Chief among them is the addition of a search box, which allows people to search for content or other people within the Plus network.

Facebook's Moves

Facebook, for its part, has not been idling watching Google+ encroach on its turf. The social media giant has been releasing its own series of changes -- and will continue to do so if current rumors are accurate.
The company is reportedly preparing to tweak its "Like" button to make it more granular, adding "Read," "Listened," and "Watched." These are expected to be introduced at the F8 Developer conference, according to news accounts. Later, it will launch social commerce buttons, such as "Want."

Variations on Themes

Not that Google+ and Facebook have become mirror images. As they compete, they are subtly creating some differences between that could matter more to certain constituencies.
For instance, Google+ has pushed ahead of Facebook with its mobile offerings, said Ian Palmer, head of marketing at Derycz Scientific.
"In the long term, mobile strategy and execution just might be where the line in the sand is drawn for whomever ultimately emerges as the leader in the social space," he told TechNewsWorld.
"It may also be a key distinction between customer base profiles in addition to key geographic, psychographic and demographic splits," Palmer said.
Facebook's changes will delight its advertisers, Laura O'Shaughnessy, CEO of SocialCode, told TechNewsWorld.
"These new features will uncover new data about how different audience segments respond to different aspects of the platform," she said.
